Nude in interiors

Nude or pink? This color accompanies me very often. Not to sweet and not childish, always classy.
Today in a playful scene: modern, humble design looks great in pale hues, breaks dullness and gives a personal touch. White interiors love tiny accents of pastels colors.

Danish home

This time an inspiration of a Louise Simony house, a Danish painter and illustrator.
Following the white trends, she contrasted the walls with dark chairs and added a touch of warm pinky red and green- simply beautiful

A house of white and beige

Beige might be passe, but when combined with white brings the lightness and calmness to every interior.
Combined with satin glass is also very feminine and sophisticated.

Blooming Table

Let spring come to your house and decorate your table with beautiful spring - summer flowers!
Mix all colors and transparent glass to create an idyllic ambiance, like that one below.

Colorful Blocks

It is always a challenge for me to find a perfect painting, photo or wallpaper so that it fits the overall interior design without making it exaggerated or trivial.
I found very interesting a new collection introduced by Blik of abstract geometric wall decals, because it gives freedom of mixing the shapes and colors and also because it might be easy to do it by yourself.

An office

An office at home?  In this dark and elegant designed space you can easily find a cosy place to work in.
Anthracite shades broken with a worm wooden accents catch my attention every time I look at those pictures. Well organized cabinets and shelves, plenty of hidden drawers create a paradise for paper work and do not mess up the space. Some how even mysterious.

Tile-less bathroom

Today's photos are an Italian inspiration of a tile-free approach in the bathrooms design. Modern and clean line, for walls all sorts of water- and mold-proof paints are available, for floor finishes: waxed concrete - easy to maintain and no more grout cleaning on your knees! Acceptable or strange?

Work in progress - baby room

Fresh news from site - little baby's room is going well, this weekend we were able to make a lightning test.
It is still some work to do but slowly we get there!

Black is fashion

Let's have a look at the Yohij Yamamoto, Japanese fashion designer warehouse today. Clothing that he design are simple, monochromatic and as he claims, should ''protects you from unwelcome eyes'', like an armor.
I especially like one of his quotes about black - adequate in fashion but also in interior design. Would you agree?

Openwork Chair

Thanks to the new cut-out machines and special materials a lot of openwork chairs are now available on the market. Each one is unique, looks like a piece of art but what is more important - they all are comfortable.  Modern accent to the interior - but which one to choose?

Blue but grey

Following my yesterday's inspiration I could not resist sharing with you some photos that I found some time ago. Overall greyish and cobalt blue tones including all varied elements - everything fit well together and make a harmonious whole. I especially like those lively touch of white and warm wood that lighten up and cheer this space.

Baby room

Our first project of a small child's room for our special clients - the concept of balanced colors and soft tones which do not overload the surrounding. The additional elements such a wallpaper with animals, children's accessories and toys give a touch of color to this composition. Wooden floor warms up the white shades. The perfect place to calm down and enjoy the beautiful moments. Soon on blog: work in progress preview.

February

Not spring yet, but not winter anymore, transitional time usually is not too nice in terms of weather. However  I found those beuty pictures on the Cecilieslykke blog that I wanted to shear with you: flowers in the house, combination of winter and spring accents. How bright, optimistic and refreshing!
